One way link
building
Think of one way link building as a part of search
engine optimization. Good link building techniques will not
only bring you a lot of ongoing traffic, it also will get you
noticed more by the Google search engine.
It's safe to say that most Internet marketers are trying to
get good exposure and high ranking with Google. This can mean a
lot of traffic flooding your site that can convert into a lot
of money. One way link building is the highest form of flattery
and Google tends to reward one way link builders with higher
ranking in their search engines.
Building a great SEO process for yourself is to ensure you
are working a strategy that will pay you off in free traffic.
This is not a "fast buck" strategy for the moment but for many
years down the road. One way link building plays a major role
in this SEO strategy.
These one way links are your links on other's sites that
point to you. This is not a reciprocal link, where you need
their link in exchange. In other words, another site found your
site so cool or informational, they gave you a link to your
site.
These type of back links tell Google that other sites like
you. These one way links are usually long term. It takes awhile
to begin noticing the traffic climb but generally in a couple
of months things begin kicking in.
What some people don't realize with their one way link
building campaign is the direct relationship between quality
content and the one way links! If you wish to receive good one
way links, then you have to offer quality on your site. You
really cannot expects others to simply give you back links if
your content isn't rich and informative.
What is the number one thing anyone can do to begin
receiving one way links? Start writing good content that
others will be attracted to. There is no lasting shortcut to
one way link building. Quality content takes extra time.
Keep your content engaging. Online content is usually
scanned before being read. If you want more of your traffic to
actually read your content, then it's up to you to give them
compelling content to read.
Do some spot maintenance on your site to ensure you have
quality. Your site can look professional and look busy but if
things are not what they appear to be, this will not get you
one way links from others.
Offering "how-to" tips, good interviews or insider reports.
Some site owners will even offer free software or ebook
downloads. This can improve your site. But all of this needs to
stay relevant to your chosen topics.
Leaving relevant links to other sites for more information
is also a great idea. The search engines look at these links
and the relevancy that goes with them. This helps to make your
site more attractive to others for giving you one way
links.
There is one sure fire exercise you can use to kick start
your one way link building strategy. This will require some
work but the time spent is worth your efforts.
1. Write three articles that are relevant to your website.
At the end of these articles, provide back links to your
website for readers to receive more relevant information. Pay
attention to quality and detail in writing your articles.
Submit these 3 articles to an article directory. When Google
indexes the article directory site, your articles are also
indexed. They then are included into Google's search engine and
can be found so people can read them.
2. Find three blog sites that are relevant to the articles
that you wrote about. Leave a comment in relation to the post
topic, then include a link to one of the articles you wrote. Do
this 3 times.
3. Find three different forums with threads that are
relevant to your articles. Leave your forum comments with links
to your articles.
This exercise will do a couple of things for you. It will
show you the power, of what a one way link can do and give you
some traffic for the trouble of doing this exercise.
Quality and relevancy go hand in hand. Many site owners are
fearful of including relevant links to other's sites. They are
afraid these other sites might be better than their own. Let go
of this notion. If you spend all of your one way link building
time fretting over other sites as your market competition, this
will freeze you out of using good judgment.

A few considerations might be: Finding sites to link to that
have been around for at least a year. If the site in question
has a high overall ranking with Google, this is a good thing to
also consider.
It's important to keep in mind, one way link building is not
something that you will have absolute control over. As other
sites find your site to be of quality, then they will give you
one way links. You can get the word out for others to visit
your site!
The only control that you really have is your own site. When
you can offer the Internet a site that has fresh quality
content, great links to other quality sites and posts, then you
doing your one way link building homework.
